On April 29-30, 2021, in-person sessions of the III International Scientific Conference "MIP Engineering-III 2021: Modernization, Innovation, Progress: Advanced Technologies in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering and Automation" were held at the Krasnoyarsk House of Science and Technology. On April 29, a plenary face-to-face meeting of the conference and an online session with speeches by the conference participants took place. The full-time plenary session was attended by scientists and teachers from St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk. The reports of the South Ural State University, Irkutsk State Transport Institute, Reshetnev Siberian State University, Siberian Federal University, Central Research Institute of KM "Prometey" were presented. The online session was attended by scientists and teachers from Kemerovo State University, Tashkent State Transport University, FKP "GkNIPAS" (Belozersky), ITMO University * (St. Petersburg), RUDN (Moscow), Novosibirsk State University, NCFU (Stavropol) , ChGU (Chelyabinsk), MSTU "Stankin" (Moscow), Samara State Technical University and other universities. On April 30, 2021, an online session of video reports and E-presentations of the conference participants was held.

More than 1,500 people took part in the conference, presenting more than 450 reports from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation and 10 foreign countries. The full program of the face-to-face session and the list of participants' materials are available on the Conference Materials website.

At the moment, work is underway to prepare conference materials for sending to the publishing house IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (UK) and AIP Conference Proceedings (USA) for publication and subsequent indexing.
