President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in 2015-2016 in his annual messages to the Federal Assembly noted the importance of supporting non-profit organizations that have established themselves as impeccable partners of the state, and pointed out the need to establish the legal status of a "non-profit organization - a provider of socially useful services" legal and regulatory framework. In 2016, a number of federal laws were adopted aimed at establishing the specified status and legal basis for providing such organizations with state support.

In 2020, the Krasnoyarsk Regional House of Science and Technology RosSNIO is included in the Register of socially oriented non-profit organizations.

On January 27, 2021, KKDNiT received an official confirmation of the recognition of the organization as a performer of socially useful services in the following areas of activity:

- Services in the field of preschool and general education, additional education of children: implementation of additional general developmental programs, psychological and pedagogical counseling of students, their parents (legal representatives) and teaching staff, organization and holding of Olympiads, competitions, events aimed at identifying and developing students intellectual and creative abilities, abilities to engage in physical culture and sports, interest in scientific (research) activities, creative activity, physical culture and sports activities;

- Services in the field of additional education for elderly citizens and disabled people, including training in computer literacy skills.
