The Apitech II conference proceedings were published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series - Volume 1679.
This volume contains materials of the II International Conference on Applied Physics, Information Technology and Engineering (APITECH-II 2020), which was held in Krasnoyarsk. Additionally, the collection includes the best reports adopted and presented at the XXVIII All-Russian seminar "Neuroinformatics, its applications and data analysis" (September 25-27, 2020) and the XXIII All-Russian seminar "Modeling of nonequilibrium systems-2020" (October 2-4, 2020 .), Which were held at the Federal Research Center "Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences" at the Institute of Computational Modeling of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The purpose of these scientific events is to share the results and prospects of achievements in the application of modern methods of applied physics and information technologies in the field of high technologies, production, in the aerospace, energy, chemical, oil and gas industries, in the economy and organization of machine-building production; and in modern research areas of complex technical and information systems.
The international level of the conference is confirmed by the participation of representatives
from 19 foreign countries (Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Peru, Latvia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Belarus, Japan, China, France, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Tajikistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Jordan).
Participants from Russia represented more than 200 universities, research institutes and organizations, industrial enterprises from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation.
The conference program included the following scientific areas: Condensed matter physics; Nanoscience and Nanotechnology; Optical physics, quantum electronics and photonics; Engineering and Industrial Physics; Metrology and standards of instrumentation and automation; Software engineering; Information Systems; Reliability of software and data protection; Cybernetics, economics and organization of engineering production; Mechanical Engineering and Industry 4.0; Materials Science, Aerospace Technology and Engineering; Energy, Chemical and Environmental Engineering; Oil and gas engineering; Neuroinformatics, its applications and data analysis (XXVIII All-Russian seminar); Modeling of nonequilibrium systems (XXIII All-Russian seminar).
The organizing committee of the APITECH - II 2020 conference received more than 700 reports, which were reviewed, according to the results of which 403 articles were published in the journal.
